Mrs. Clifford Leyendecker, 49, of 3906 Delta St., Manitowoc, died at 1:25 a.m. Sunday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she was removed after a coronary attack at home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, the Rev. Richard Heymen officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Leyendecker, nee Evelyn Mae Close, was born July 20, 1914, at Neva, Wis., daughter of the late George and Rose Strasser Close. She was married at Chicago Jan. 31, 1939, to Mr. Leyendecker and the couple resided at Manitowoc. She attended St. John Parochial School at Antigo and was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. She was employed as a clerk at Cawley Co., Manitowoc.
Surviving are the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Francis Mohr, of Manitowoc, a son PFC. Jerome C. Leyendecker, with the U.S. Army at Frankfurt, Germany, two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Nichols and Mrs. Paul Tadych, of Manitowoc and three brothers, Alfred and George Close, of Manitowoc and Louis of Libertyville, Ill.
The Rosary will be recited at 7:15 o’clock this Monday evening at the funeral home.
