Eloise Coxey, 89, of Dayton, died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Life Care of Rhea County.
Eloise was a longtime resident of Rhea County and a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.
She liked to bowl, loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Eloise was a registered nurse retiring from North Park Hospital in Chattanooga.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Heman and Annie White Swafford.
Survivors include her husband, James W. "J.W." Coxey, of Dayton; one daughter, Joy (Tom) Horsley, of Dayton; one son, Eddie (Linda) Owensby, of Dayton; three grandchildren, Scott (Candi) Owensby, Kelly Brooks, and Jana (Mike) Bice; and three great-grandchildren, Barrett and Cody Bice, and Courtney Bice.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 10, 2015, at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. John Neese and Rev. Bill Ewing officiating.
Burial will be at Rhea Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday, May 10, 2015, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
