Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Donald Becker will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Kanugh was born Dec. 5, 1896, at Milwaukee, son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Grohol Kanugh. He moved to Pulaski as a child where he farmed for 26 years before moving to Two Rivers. He married Agnes Adam Sept. 16, 1919, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Kanugh was a member of Two Rivers Senior citizens.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Gerald and Joseph of Manitowoc and Raymond of Two Rivers; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Rosemary) Novak of Manitowoc and Mrs. Don (Delores) Finney of Covina, Calif.; three brothers, John of West Allis, Frank of Milwaukee and Edward of Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Elizabeth) Rady and Mr. R.J. (Marie) Bohne of Two Rivers, 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Two infant daughters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 4 p.m. Sunday, where a parish memorial service will be at 7 p.m.

The marriage of Miss Agnes Adam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franz Adam,
well known farmers of the Town of Two Rivers and Joseph Kanugh of this
city took place Tuesday morning at St. Luke's church. Father Hugo
performed the ceremony. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the
bride, relatives only being present and the pair departed on a wedding
trip. Upon their return they will make their home in Two Rivers where
they groom is an employee of the Aluminum Goods Company.
