Guido Paonessa, 82, passed away Dec. 17, 2002, on his son, Dean's, birthday to join him in the arms of Jesus. Guido was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, and Sons of Italy. He retired from First Merit Bank.
He is also preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Clara Paonessa; and brothers, Alfred and Tom Paonessa. Guido is survived by his loving and caretaking wife of 53 years, Julia; children, Denise (Gary) Mendelson, Dennis Paonessa, and Te resa (Bradley) Paonessa-Faidley; and granddaughter, Carolyn; broth ers Joe and Don Paonessa.
