Obituary From Ottumwa Daily Courier, Friday, December 10, 1937, Page 18:

Mrs. Mamie White Dial, 50, wife of Michael Dial, 529 Minneopa street, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 9 a.m. today.

She was the daughter of James N. and Etta White and was born at Lancaster, Mo., July 28, 1887. She had been a resident of Ottumwa the last 48 years and was a member of the Davis Street Christian church.

She is survived by her husband, her mother, two brothers, Arthur White of Ottumwa and Harry White of Denver, Colo., and one sister, Mrs. Hazel Bigham of Denver. Her father preceded her in death in 1935.

The body will be at the Johnson funeral chapel, awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.

Short funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Dial, who died Friday at the Ottumwa hospital will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel and at 2 o'clock in the Davis Street Christian church. Services will be in charge of the Rev. Roy C. Leeds and burial will be in Shaul cemetery.

Pallbearers will be V.C. Smith, Harold E. Davis, John W. Henderson, Joseph M. Goodwin, Otta J. Goodwin and Kenneth D. Goodwin.
