Dorothy P. Hostetler, 90, Hooversville, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 18, 2006, at Church of the Brethren Home, Windber. Born Aug. 13, 1916, in Hooversville, daughter of Ruben and Binnie (Kimmel) Birch. Preceded in death by parents; husband Charles; sisters, Priscilla and Althea; and brothers, Harry, Maurice and Robert. Survived by children, Sandra, married to Ray Shaffer, Hooversville; Larry Hostetler and friend Anne, Stoystown; Don (Audrey) Hostetler, Hooversville; and Clifford (Barbara) Hostetler, Palmerton. Grandchildren, David, Jolene and Jim; and great-grandchildren, Douglas, Shawn, Brett, Autumn, Isaiah, Kristin, Jeff and Haley. Also survived by sister Mae Keith, Rockwood; and daughter-in-law Joanne, Hollsopple. Member of Hooversville United Methodist Church. At the request of the family, viewing and services will be private. Interment at P.O.S. of A. Cemetery, Hooversville. Arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
