Katherine P. Coffey departed this life on Friday, July 24, 2015, at Martha Jefferson Hospital.She was born on December 15, 1929 in Crozet, Va., Katherine was the daughter of the late Mary Woodson and Earl Patterson.

She retired from Acme Manufacturing after 40 years of dedicated service.Katherine married her sweetheart Paul Coffey in 1958, and the couple had three children from this union.Her impact and influences as a loving, generous, and caring person will continue to bless those encompassed by her love of life and family.

In addition to her husband of the home, Paul Coffey; she leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Paula Coffey of Afton, Va., and Pamela Coffey of Charlottesville, Va.; a son, Benton Coffey of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Dorothy Jones of Stuarts Draft, Va., and Grace Morris of Ruckersville, Va.; two grandchildren, Valerie Pham and Kimberly Nickel of Richmond, Va.; two great-grandchildren, Brady and Ethan Pham; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 27, 2015, at Hillsboro Baptist Church in Crozet, Va. at 1 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Martha Jefferson Hospital Cancer Care, 500 Martha Jefferson Dr., Charlottesville, VA 22911.
