Jones - TWO ARE DEAD Diphtheria Claims Two Victims in Kankakee Township Two children in the family of Ferdinand Jones, living at Rolling Prairie, Have fallen victims to diphtheria. One death, that of a three-year-old daughter,(Eva Grace Jones) took place Sunday, and yesterday another child succumbed to the dread disease. The health authorities are maintaining quarantine measures which will not be relaxed until all danger of the disease spreading have been obviated. The theory prevails that the cases in the Jones family were contracted from persons who had come from South Bend which is being scourged by the malady. Undertaker Weir buried the bodies of the two little victims.
