Martha Pauline Styles Teal went under God’s personal care on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at her residence in Johnson City, Tennessee. Surrounded by loving family, she left this life as she lived in it with love, grace, dignity, and assurance.
A life-long educator, she was known for her personal interest in every student, her encouraging nature and her innovative approaches to the learning process. A vibrant woman with a warm, engaging smile, she enjoyed travel, ballroom dancing and, most of all, her family.
She is survived by her two children, Tracy Teal and Paula Raymond; four grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Fuller; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Styles’ family lot at Kansas Baptist Church Cemetery.
