Zella Wilson

 

Mrs. Zella Styles Wilson, 78, of 570 Wiley Wilson Road, Bowdon, Georgia died Friday, March 7, 1986, in Tanner Medical Center.

 

She was born in Carroll County, Georgia, August 11, 1907, the daughter of the late Gordon and Fannie Horsley Styles.  Mrs. Wilson was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Bowdon Baptist Church and was a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Wilson, on January 16, 1982, a son Neal Wilson, in 1949 and a brother, Floyd Styles.

 

Survivors include four sons, Garfield Wilson of Tallahassee, Florida, Jim Wilson Concord of California, Ed Wilson of Bowdon, Georgia, Rich Wilson of Bowdon, Georgia; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; six sisters, Mrs. Mona Adamson of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Mildred Johnson of Tallapoosa, Georgia, Mrs. Golda Cole of Bremen, Georgia, Mrs. Betty Hooker of Atlanta, Mrs. Pauline Teal of New Port Rickey, Florida, Mrs. Jean Fuller, Bowdon, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services were held March 9, at Bowdon Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon Willingham and the Rev. Gene Ennis officiating. Pallbearers were Tracy Teal, Mike Hooker, Charles L. Adamson, Coby Cole, Robert Fuller, Steve Fuller, Roy Fuller and Jon Fuller.

 

Interment was in the Bowdon City Cemetery. Rainwater Funeral Home, Bowdon, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
