Jean had a heart for mission work and held various positions with Georgia WMU, Carrollton Baptist Association, and Bowdon Baptist Church. Her servant heart led her to international mission trips, service to the local community relief center, and to mentor many young women in her local church.
Jean attended West Georgia College and taught for several years in Carroll County schools. She was honored as Bowdon Citizen of the Year in 1995 and was a member of the Bowdon Historical Society and the Blue Stocking Club, a civic service organization.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Malone Fuller; grandson, Mark Fuller; and her siblings: Mona Styles Adamson, Zella Styles Wilson, Mildred Styles Johnson, Goldie Styles Cole, Pauline Styles Teal, Elizabeth (Betty) Styles Hooker, and Floyd Styles.
Mrs. Fuller is survived by her six children and their spouses: Steve and Pam Fuller, Melinda and Jack Beam, Robert and Patricia Fuller, Roy Fuller, Laura and Tommy Messer, and Jon and Jennifer Fuller. She was also blessed with 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Jean Fuller will be held on Friday, February 15, at noon at Bowdon Baptist Church. Officiating ministers will be Justin Richards, Ron Huggins, and Dan Dockery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Jason Fuller, Kyle Fuller, Chad Fuller, Chris Messer, Rob Messer, Zachary Messer, Evan Fuller, Rylan Fuller, and Clay Fuller. Honored guests will be members of the Naomi Sunday School Class. Interment will follow the services in Bowdon City Cemetery.
