Walter Clark
PENDLETON - Walter Clark, 71, 536 S Pendleton Ave died at his home yesterday, following an illness of several years.
He was born in Pendleton on June 20 1890, the son of Charles A. and Clara (Kinnamon) Clark.
Mr Clark, a retired contractor, spent his entire life in Pendleton and married Anna e Jones in Pendleton in 1910.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs Freda Teagardin, Anderson; Mrs Phyllis Jarvis, Anderson; Mrs Lorraine Burson Dayton, Ohio; two sons, Ronald J Clark Anderson, C Gene Clark, Pendleton; six sisters, Mrs Victor Riggs and Mrs Horace Jacobs, both of Anderson; Mrs Norman Blue Lake Geneva,Wisc; Mrs Everett Miller Indianapolis; Mrs Katie Ford, Newcastle; 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, A son Darrell died in 1950.
The body was taken to the Cornell Bright Funeral Home where friends will be received after 2pm today. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2pm Friday with the Rev Harold M Thraser of Pendleton Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
