Nov. 28, 1862. Died Oct. 3, 1863, New Orleans, La.

No burial site listed. Based on others who died at New Orleans, his body would be moved to Chalmette National Cemetery after the war around 1867. By that time large numbers of headboards were vandalized or no longer legible. These soldiers were buried as unknowns. Calvin is possibly among them.
