Found a photocopied partial page of the 1981 Gray History Book:
"Milton Denis Crowe" "Milton Denis Crow was born in Fayette county, Ia., on Apr. 20, 1957. He was married Dec. 25, 1880, to Alice Serepta Conner. They were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John K. Conner near Dedham.[Carroll, County, IA]. They were the parents of seven children, two dying in infancy. Elenora Crow Horning, John, Phillip, Louis, and Mildred Crow Nailor. They farmed many years southwest and east of the farm, they moved to Old Carrollton in Carroll county in 1920. Milton drove school bus for several years where they spent their remaining years. Milton died Aug. 17, 1930. Alice died Dec. 13, 1928."
