Eugene Tinney

Eugene Tinney, 85, of Columbia Station, passed away Thursday October 31, 2013, at his home, following a long illness. He was born November 17, 1927 in Braxton County, West Virginia.

Eugene worked for Lakewood Manufacturing for 28 years as a tow motor operator.

Survivors include a daughter, Wanda J. Carter of Litchfield; two sons, Jerry L. Tinney (Tamara) of LaGrange, Michael P. Tinney (Teresa) of Wakeman. Additional survivors include four stepdaughters, Christine Moore, Debra Stanberry, Jenny Herron, Louella Recina; a stepson, Danny Loop; seven grandchildren, Terry Morgan, Carissa Shaffer, Jeremy Tinney, Robert Tinney, Jennifer Vance, Stephanie Tinney, Mike Wilms; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Tinney (nee Lilly); and his parents, Lloyd and Samantha Tinney (nee Long).

All services are private.
