Mr. Dale C. Pullium, age 75 of Marble, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Dale was born May 23, 1940 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Chess Pullium and the late Dorothy Mae Brown Pullium. A member of the Valley River Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Louise Pullium, an infant daughter, Daphney Pullium, sister, Savonne Mathis, brothers, Daniel, Dean and David Pullium. In his spare time, Dale enjoyed going to the races and watching Nascar.

Survivors include wife, Helen Nix Pullium, two sons, Alex (and wife Myra) Pullium and Greg (and wife Tammy) Pullium, two step-children, Tammy Berrong and Sheldon (and wife Tracey) Horton, two brothers, Darrell and Dillard Pullium, three sisters, Sharon Guffey, Shirley Tatham and Sheila Lumb, one grandchild, Ashley (and husband Jacob) Hyde, one great-grandchild, Asher Hyde, four step-grandchildren, Dillion and Casady Horton and Jordan and Justin Berrong, one step-great-grandchild, Emerson Berrong and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with the Rev. Jerry Tatham and Rev. Roy Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Sheldon Horton, Chris Guffey, Jim Rogers, Dean Rogers, Jeff Tatham and Johnny Palmer.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Sunday, January 31, 2016, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. The family will be accepting flowers or you may choose to make a donation in Dale's memory to your favorite charity.
