Rutzen, Doris Beloved mother and grandmother, age 90, died at her home on Jan 29, 2016. She was born to Ervil and Eva(Stone) Westlake on Oct 19, 1925 in Plankinton, SD. Preceded in death by husband, Ervin, Brother, Arnold(Karen) Westlake, two sisters Maxine Voight and Freda(Doug) Hanlon, and special friend Bob Beckwell. Survived by three daughters, Della (Leneen) Schrieffer, Susan (Earl) Halladay and Patsy Renee (Mark) Corbin, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grand children, 6 great-great grandchildren, brother, Everett (Lucille) Westlake and sister MaryLou (Carl) Sampson and many nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, Doris enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting at her church. As many may know, she was an avid MN Twins fan and new more about the players than we did. But mostly, Doris cherished time with family and friends and was quick to the table when anyone said, "how about a game of cards?" She will be remembered for her kindness of word, her strong quiet faith, and her generous heart. She will be deeply missed. May she rest peacefully in God's Radiant Light.
