Lelia Hylton Rorrer, 64, of Stuart died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at her home.
She was born Jan. 29, 1947 in Mercer County, W.Va., to Charlie G. and Etta Meadows Hylton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Chad Rorrer; a sister, Willa Mae Shelton; and a brother, Carl Hylton.
She was a member of Jesus Saves Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Delmas Rorrer; a son, Bradley Rorrer of Stuart; a daughter, Wendy Lane of Stuart; five grandchildren; two sisters: Henrietta Cassidy of Maugansville, Md., and Pina H. Nance of Stuart; six brothers: William Robert Hylton of Horsepasture, Emmett G. Hylton of Fieldale, Wesley Hylton of Sandy Ridge, N.C., Russell Hylton of Madison, N.C., Charles Hylton of Lawsonville, N.C., and James Hylton of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jesus Saves Baptist Church with Dr. Noah Frye officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart and other times at the home.
