Born on November 22, 1922 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Kelly and Mary Dotson Dillon. She had been a resident of Bluewell for 45 years and was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Jessie Edwards; a son, Bobby Edwards; and 6 sisters, Gladys Kirby, Pearl Goins, Bertha Haas, Beulah Shrader, Janet Dale, and Opal Helmandollar.
Survivors include:

Steven Darrell Edwards and Connie of Bluewell
Terry Lee Edwards and Karen of Speedway
4 daughters: Priscilla P. Epperson and Fount of Princeton

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister David Lusk officiating.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
Burial will follow on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
