Janet L. Dale, loving mother and grandmother, died on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at the age of 81.
Janet was born in Goodwill, W.Va. to the late Kelly Dillon and the late Mary Dotson. She attended and was a member of Duhring Church of Christ. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Terry Belcher and husband Carl of Chapel Hill, N.C.; sister, Helen Edwards of Bluewell, W.Va.; brother, Tom Dillon and wife Dixie of Bucyrus, Ohio; grandchildren, Timothy Brian Dale and wife Kristy of Morrisville, N.C., Sara Dale, and Heather Belcher of Durham, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Karen Dale; great-grandchildren, Ian and Emma Dale; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Allen Dale; son, Timothy Allen Dale; and sisters, Pearl Goins, Bertha Haas, Gladys Kirby, and Beulah Shrader.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 2nd, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Cravens-Shires Chapel. Nephew, John Tote III will be officiating. Kenny Kirby will provide the special music for the funeral.
Pallbearers: Walter Goins, Kenny Sawyers, Marty Mariotti, David Gilmore, Kelly Mariotti, Freddy Kirby.
