HAMPTON - Musie A. Ballard, born Aug. 30, 1926 in Enfield, N.C., passed away in Hampton on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008.

She attended the North Carolina School for the Deaf in Morganton. She worked at and retired from NASA in Hampton. She was a member of the Non-Denominational Deaf Missionary Church in Norfolk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas K. Ballard and their daughter, Camilla Ballard.

She is survived by her sister, Estelle A. Searls and many nieces and nephews.
