NEWPORT NEWS - Paul Fleming Andleton, 79, passed away Monday, April 12, 2004, at Riverside Convalescent Center.

Born Jan. 2, 1925, in Enfield, N.C., Paul came to the Peninsula six years ago from Long Beach, Calif., after retiring as an electrician with the civil service.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Kathryn Bolden and her husband, John, of Poquoson, Patti Bellamy of Hueysville, Ky., Debra Jessen and her husband, Doug, of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Estelle Searls of Hampton and Musie Ballard and her husband, Tommy, of Hampton; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 15, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral to celebrate the life of Paul will be private at the family's request. Friends may visit www.mem.com to share words of comfort with the family. Arrangements are under the care of Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton.
