A quiet man, but when he spoke, the rest paid attention.He worked in the oil fields all around Jack and Young County, Texas...He served in the Military Police in the Army in World War ll. He served in Sicily, Naples area...He was 5 foot 11 1/2 inches tall, brown hair, brown eyes.Honorable Discharge. He never married just took care of his mother Mary.

Edwin Walter Fields was the son of pioneer settlers of Bryson, Texas.

Survived by four sisters - Mrs. Irene Gilmore, Mrs. Doris Kincaid, Mrs. Violet Waldrop, MRs. Dorothy Sosebee; four brothers - Glen Fields, Leslie Fields, Vydell Fields, Clyde Fields.
