He was a fisherman and loved the great outdoors, he owned a small 14 foot boat with a 1956 Wizard 12 horsepower motor which he highly prized. He was a simple man, farmed for folks around Jack County Texas his whole life. He loved coon dogs, chicken fried steak and french fries. He would stop in at the Dairy Queen where I worked and talk in his later years...He was a fun uncle...
