Parker,Ind.,Dec. 15--Dr. P.C. Barnard, 81, practicing physician here for 36 years, died at his home today after a lingering illness.
His record as an active practitioner of medicine was one of the oldest in the state, dating back to his graduation in 1901 from the Central College of Physicians and Surgeons in Indianapolis.
A member of the Delaware-Blackford Medical Society, he first practiced at Oakville and later at Hamilton. He established his residence in Parker in 1913 and was actively engaged in his profession until his last illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Parker Methodist Church by the Rev. E.B. Megenity. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery mausoleum in Muncie. Friends may call at the residence after 7 o'clock Friday night, when the body will be removed from the Perry funeral home.
