Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. today in St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Thomas with Monsignor Joseph Tash officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St.
Mrs. Barra was born in Estelline and moved to Amarillo in 1985 from Houston. She married Frank Barra in 1951 at Wilburton, Okla. She retired as a registered nurse in 1973. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Steven Mark Barra of Houston; two daughters, Victoria Adams of Amarillo and Lydia Harper of Boulder, Colo.; a brother, Orville Duncan of Colgate, Okla.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to Olivia's Angels, 600 N. Tyler St., Amarillo, TX 79106.
