John Estridge, 86 years old, died Tuesday. Mr. Estridge had resided in Metamora before residing at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fannie Shell of near Metamora.

Survivors include the widow, Mattie; five sons, Eli, Robert, Walter, and Henry, all of Brookville and Charles of Williamstown, Kentucky; four daughters, Mrs. Shell, Mrs. Lulu Hunter of Laurel, Mrs. Pearl Eversole, Mrs. Margaret Klein of Brookville; one brother, Zack of Eqypt, Kentucky; one sister, Mrs. W. H. Wolfe of Metamora; 41 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Estridge will be held Friday (tomorrow) at 2:00 p.m. at the Metamora Christian Church with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Waltz Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Thursday (today).
