Services for Mary Elizabeth Adams will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adams, 88, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Oxford, NC, July 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Otis King and Annie Adcock King. She was the widow of Robert L. Adams, and was a member of Hamer Church of God.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Bunky) Townsend of Dillon; grandchildren, Kim (Chris) Rouse, and Brant Townsend; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Amber Rouse; brothers, Claude King of Dillon, and Benjamin King of Tennessee.
