EDMUND V. DIRKMANN SR.

Edmund Dirkmann Sr., 65, of ?0606 Chernes Rd., Mishicot, died Saturday morning
Feb. 24, at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lambert Funeral Home and 11 am.
at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Earl Brouchard will officiate
and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Dirkmann was born Jan. 28, 1915, in the Town of Mishicot, son of the late
Walter and Clara Heinzen. He farmed and was employed at Manitowoc Engineering
for many years. He married Marion Gerl Surtus June 4, 1952, at St. Boniface
Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Marion; three sons, Edmund Birkmann Jr., of Route 2,
Manitowoc, David and Donald Dirkmann of Mishicot; two step-sons, Thomas Surtus
of Sheboygan and James Surtus of Menominee Falls; a daughter Mary Beth Dirkmann
of Lancaster, Pa.; a brother Paul of Kellnersville; five sisters, Maybel and
Helen Dirkmann, Mrs. Robert Ruth LaPorte all of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Richard
(Lorraine) Thomas of Wausau, Mrs. Robert (Lucille) Smanda Sr. of East Troy, Wis.,
two grandchildren. A infant sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot after 4 p.m. Monday, memorial
service 7 p.m.
