John P. Dvorak, 100, former Mishicot resident, died Sunday morning in Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday in
Lambert Funeral Home and 11 am in Holy Cross Catholic church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Earl Brouchoud will officiate and burial will be in the parish
cemetery.
Mr. Dvorak was born June 26, 1878 in the Town of Mishicot, son of the late
Joseph and Mary Skarivoda Dvorak, moving with his mother in 1898 to Barron
County in northern Wisconsin. He married Mary Malachek in 1907 and returned
to Mishicot in 1919, farming until his retirement in 1943. Mr. Dvorak had
resided in Green Bay, Mishicot, Two Rivers and Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Dvorak preceded him in death December, 1962.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin and Harvey of Mishicot; two daughters, Mrs.
Norman (Eunice) LaHar of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Robert W. (Glorian)
Johnson of Green Bay; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A daughter,
a brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Lambert Funeral Home after 4 pm Tuesday where a memorial
service will be at 8 pm.
