Mr. Dvorak was born September 20, 1908 in Barron County, Wisconsin, son of the late John P. and Mary Malachek Dvorak. He moved to Mishicot with his family in 1919. He married Sylvia Vraney on February 28, 1935 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Francis Creek. Mr. Dvorak was employed in Mishicot and Casco as a Master Barber. He built, owned and operated Badger Bowl in Mishicot from 1935 to 1947. He was Manager of Standard Lumber Company, Francis Creek and then employed for 20 years at Braun Lumber Company until retiring. He was a charter member of the Mishicot Lions club, served on the Mishicot Village Board and was a member and the first president of Mishicot Sportsmens Club.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; four daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Dr. James Plos of Oshkosh, Eileen and Walter Hanmann of Casco, Jean and Dr. Robert Horn of DePere and Judith and Lionel Bain of Los Angeles, California; a brother, Harvey Dvorak Sr. of Mishicot; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Glorian) Johnson of Green Bay and Mrs. Eunice LaHar of St. Petersburg, Florida; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson and a sister.
