MARY DVORAK
Mrs. John P. Dvorak, 75, of Mishicot, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at her home.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Specht Funeral Home,
Mishicot and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, the Rev. Anthony
Betley officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
Mrs. Dvorak was born Mary Malachek on December 6, 1886, the daughter of the late
Margaret Sladtky and Joseph Malachek in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee County. She
married John P. Dvorak, Oct. 8, 1907 at Rice Lake where the couple resided on a
farm for 12 years. They then moved to the Town of Mishicot where they farmed until
retirement in 1943 when they moved to the village where she resided since. She was
a member of the Altar Society of Holy Cross Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Francis Rollo and Mrs. Robert
Johnson of Green Bay; two sons, Alwin and Harvey of Mishicot; 10 grandchildren
and five great grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m.
Monday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
