MISHICOT – Cpl. Milton F. Dvorak of Mishicot was accidentally killed
recently while serving with the Armed Forces in Korea. The accident
occurred in a rock quarry near Yonchon, Korea. Cpl. Dvorak was helping
to load trucks in the quarry when the mishap occurred. He was trying
to remove a water can from under the chute used in loading rock into
the trucks when the chute collapsed. Dvorak was partially buried and
killed instantly.
Dvorak, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Dvorak, Rt. 1, Mishicot,
was recently graduated from the Far East Command Chemical School. He
had been in Korea only a few months.
He entered the Army in May, 1951, took his basic training at Fort
Leonard Wood, Mo., and was sent to Japan early this year. Arrangements
are being made to ship the body home.

HOLD MILITARY RITES, MISHICOT.
Military funeral services were conducted by the Kempen-Staudinger-
Terens Post No. 7753, Veterans of Foreign Wars, at 2 p.m. Saturday
for Cpl. Milton Dvorak at the Specht Funeral Home, the Rev. Ronald
Miller officiating. Pallbearers included Otto Engelbrecht, Lester
Eslinger, Joseph Fabian, Jr., James Kolarik, Erwin Tesarik and Milton
Guex.
