Two Rivers, Wisconsin - Roland H. Dvorak, age 94, of Two Rivers passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at his residence.
Roland was born December 28, 1926 in the Town of Mishicot, son of the late Adolph and Martha (Ihlenfeldt) Dvorak. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army during WWII serving in Japan from October 1945 to September 1946. Roland was united in marriage to the former Margaret Havlinek on July 27, 1975 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.
Roland worked for the U.S. Postal Service from 1949 until his retirement in 1990. He worked in both the Mishicot and Manitowoc post offices, completing his career as the bookkeeper in Manitowoc. In addition to his postal service, Roland volunteered and served the Mishicot Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7753 from 1950-1980. Roland loved working in his vegetable garden, supporting the Green Bay Packers, and watching baseball including his favorite Chicago Cubs.
Survivors include his wife: Margaret Dvorak, Two Rivers; one son and daughter-in-law: Todd and Tanya Dvorak, Combined Locks; three grandchildren: Evan, Ella and Anna Dvorak; one sister and brother-in-law: Betty and Ray Swagel, Kewaunee; several other in-laws: Carol Dvorak, Sturgeon Bay; Elaine Seefeldt, Manitowoc; Judi and Bruce Lusk, Manitowoc; Dorothy Krummel, Waukesha; Jan Herman, Waukesha; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Roland was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Milton Dvorak, Gordon (Irene) Dvorak, Robert Dvorak, Grace (Rudy) Novitski, Janette (Robert) Nemetz; and five brothers-in-law: Gordon (Eleanor) Havlinek, Ken Havlinek, Richard Seefeldt, Sydney Herman and Don Krummel.
Private Family Services were held at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers with burial taking place at Forestview Cemetery, Two Rivers.
