Floyd Bartlett "Andy" Anderson was born on Friday; August 23, 1907 in Renwick; Humboldt County, Iowa. He was the son of: William & Nina [Queary] Anderson. Floyd received his education in the Renwick school system and later graduated from college at Fort Dodge; Webster County, Iowa and the extended education program. He also earned certification in the National Radio Institute course of Washington, DC. He was a pioneer radio technician.

He was united in marriage to Catherine McKenna on Monday; February 8, 1937 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove; Wright County, Iowa. The couple made their home in Renwick, Iowa. He was in the radio repair business while in Renwick, Iowa and also ran the theatre projection system for many years. The couple moved to Eagle Grove, Iowa in 1940 where Floyd owned and operated a radio and T.V. repair shop. He retired in 1979. For 44 years Floyd was in charge of the Wright County Fair sound system. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove, Iowa and was affiliated with the area chamber of commerce for many years.

Floyd Bartlett "Andy" Anderson, age: 86, passed away on Saturday July 9, 1994 at the Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge, Iowa following a short illness.

Those left to mourn his passing are his son, Thomas F. (Julie) Anderson of Eagle Grove, Iowa; his daughter, Marilyn Anderson, also of Eagle Grove, Iowa; his two grandchildren: Patricia A. [Mrs. Charles] Fredrickson of Bondurant; Polk County, Iowa and Thomas F. (Juli) Anderson, Jr. of Eagle Grove, Iowa and his three great-grandchildren: Andrew Fredrickson, Brittney and Alyssa Anderson. Also, Floyd's niece: Helen Hoveland of Kanawha, Hancock County, Iowa and his brother-in-law, Thomas McKenna of Glen Ellyn, DuPage County, Illinois.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Catherine; and his sister: Pearl Jensen. May they rest in peace. May God bless his memory and give strength to those that mourn.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 12, 1994 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Eagle Grove with Father Wayne Droessler officiating. A Mass of Resurrection and interment will be at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Eagle Grove, Iowa.
