is M. Cox, 55, of 522 Lowther St., Bellwood, died Wednesday at 9:05 a.m. at her home after an extended illness.

She was born June 18,1925 in Williamsburg, the daughter of Harry and Susan (Quarry) Loose. On Oct. 20, 1946 in Bellwood, she was married to Harlan E.Cox.

She is survived by her husband, five sons, Gary, of Addison, N.Y.; Tom. of Tyrone RD 2; Ray, of Curwensville; and Stephen and Harlan Jr., of Bellwood; four grandchildren, her mother, of Lakemont; and six brothers and three sisters: Donald, of Sinking Valley; Leon, Ted, Fred and Ray, all of Tyrone; Palmer, of Duncansville RD; Mrs. Eleanor Brubaker, of Williamsburg RD; Mrs. Janet Reasy, of Hollidaysburg; and Mrs. Gladys Clapper, of Lakemont. A sister, Mrs. Helen Fleming, preceded her in death.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood, and was employed as a resident assistant at the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Altoona.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, with the Rev! William Wassell, assisted by the Rev. Jospeh G Rigby, officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Hollidaysburg, or the Blair County Home Nursing Agency.
