Mary Frances Ferrell, 87, Yorktown, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 6, 2016 at her home.
She was born May 12, 1929, near Daleville, the daughter of Fred B. and Ruth Ivy (Heaton) Ware. Mary loved baking, especially candy and cakes. She enjoyed bowling, was a former Moose Lodge member but the joy of her life was spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Lynda D. Seals, Debra E. Anderson (husband Michael), David D. Ferrell, and Jeffery D. Ferrell (wife Rita); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Ferrell; brother, George Ware; sister, Alberta Fullhart and a son-in-law, Cordell Seals.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304 with Pastor Melodie Eisenhofer officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
