Elizabeth (Betty) Stephani, age 88, a lifelong Manitowoc resident, died Monday evening, August 15, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 14, 1928 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Oscar and Cynthia (Braasch) Nelson. Betty attended Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On October 5, 1946 she married Robert J. Stephani at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband: Robert Stephani, Manitowoc; two daughters and one son-in-law: Paula & Richard Harris, Antioch, IL., Diana Haver, Green Bay; two sons: Robin Stephani and John Stephani, both of Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Michael Schulz, Jonathan (Kim) Schulz, Jeremy Schulz, Heather Jennings, David (Terria) Haver; eleven great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law: Elaine Nelson, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a brother: John Nelson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2016 until 10:45 a.m.
