Mary Dahl was born in Gudbrandsdalen, Norway Dec.15, 1856 and came to this country when a young girl. She was united in marriage to Iver Dahl in Tracy about forty-two years ago. The family for years had lived on the homestead at Willow Lake and for a few years before Mr. Dahl died in this city.

Mrs. Dahl leaves to mourn her death nine children: Lena, Iver, Oscar, Henry, and Matilda all at the old home; Otis of Tracy; Mrs. A Swenhaugen of Westbrook; Mrs. C Grass of Davenport, Iowa; Mrs. Edward Bannon of Bently, Alta, Canada.
Mrs. Dahl was taken to Rochester five weeks before her death for treatment, where she died exactly five weeks later. Funeral services were held from the Willow Lake Church, Thursday, Jan. 17, at 2pm Rev Govig of Walnut Grove officiated and internment was made in the Willow Lake Cemetery.
