Diane S. Long, 64, of Marinette, WI passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. She was born on June 13, 1952, to the late Merlin and Marcella (Belaire) Long in Menominee, MI.
Diane graduated from Marinette High School in 1971. She had worked as a nurse's aide at the Luther Home for six years, in security for Ansul for ten years, and most recently as a private housekeeper. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, and watching the Packers. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Peyton and Haleigh and playing Uno.
Diane is survived by a daughter, Christina (nee Parrett) (Brian) Nutter of Menominee, MI;
a son, Dustin Parrett of Stephenson, MI;
four grandchildren: Peyton and Haleigh Nutter and Brooke and Trevor Parrett;
sisters: Lois (Gary) Walters of Marinette, WI; Nancy Long and Rebecca Long, both of Green Bay, WI;
and brother-in-law, Frank Sutterfield of Custer, S.D.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Barry Long (2001) and a sister Rose Ann Sutterfield (2016).
Visitation will be held at the Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Thursday, August 25th 4 to 7 p.m.
Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
