Son of the late John and Daisy Fowler Jackson; retired auto mechanic; member Friendship Baptist Church.
Also surviving; daughters, Mrs. Louise Anthony [Louise Loftin] of Spartanburg, Mrs. Bobbie [Barbara] Lundeen of Pauline; sons, James H. of Jonesville, Ernest of Union, John L. of Buffalo, Roy Junior of Pauline, Vance and Bobby Joe of Spartanburg; sisters, Mrs. Flora Abbie [Abee], Mrs. Nettie Mae Clobes, Mrs. Ruth Riddle al of Pauline; half-sister, Mrs. Betty Lanford of Woodruff; brothers, Leo of Whitmire and Roy of Pacolet; half-brothers, Wish Jackson of Woodruff.
Services 3 Tuesday Friendship Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles Hardin; burial in church cemetery.
