A native of Gray Court, he was son of the late John and Daisy Fowler Jackson. He worked at Limestone Mill.
Surviving are his wife, Edith Sprouse Jackson; two daughters, Anna Lou Belk and Brenda Motts, both of Pacolet; a sister, Ruth Riddle of Pauline; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier.
