Mrs Ruth S Cox
Chester Mrs Ruth Swails Cox 65 widow of Ellie Davis Cox died Sunday at Mary Black Hospital Spartanburg.
Born in Georgetown County she was a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Washington Swails. She was retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Flint Street Church of God.
Surviving are a son DW Cox of Chester two daughters mrs Blondell Welch of Chester and Mrs Barbara Wilder of Andrews two brothers John Swails of Savannah Ga and Jack Swails of Andrews two sisters Mrs Etta Connelly of Andrews and Mrs Ethel Smith of Murrells Inlet nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at Flint Street Church of God with burial at 4 pm in Andrews Memorial Cemetery Andrews.
Wrights Home for Funerals is in charge.
