Dorothy Leona Parks Cox, age 94, of Williamsburg Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at her home. Dorothy was born on December 28, 1921 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Ancil Parks and Mary (Cupp) Parks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Cox and 11 brothers and sisters. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her nephew and caregiver, Everett Frank Parks (Sharon) of Williamsburg; special cousin, Cleda Parks and husband Ronnie of Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Friday, September 16, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Janus Jones officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
