Baby

Lewis was the 2nd child of Ralph and Anna Livingston who died as a baby from convulsions....complications from teething. Family records have his birthday listed as May 24th. Lewis died at 13 months old. Death certificate listed his birthday as May 5th. Lewis lived 1 year, 2 months and 4 days. Another source says May 24th. I don't know which one is right.

I did not know this child existed until 2006 when my dad died and was burying him. Found out about Uncle Lewis through the undertaker, Mr. Myers. Everyone who knew about Lewis is dead so I don't know about his short life except through the death certificate.

Brother-Ralph Blair ~ Oct. 1, 1910 ~ Feb. 14, 1980 ~ aged 69
Sister--Esther Anna ~ March 24, 1917 ~ Dec. 10, 2008 ~ aged 91
Sister--Ruth Helen ~ January 6, 1932 ~ Dec. 6, 2013 ~ aged 81

Lewis died 4 years before my mom was born. There are no known pictures of Lewis.

On an old Bible page, the baby is listed as Lewis Franklin Kniley Livingston. I'm not sure if the name Kniley is part of his middle name or attached to the last name. On his death certificate baby Lewis is listed as just Livingston.

Lewis was originally interred in the Palmer Grounds Cemetery (today known as Kensington Burial Ground) on July 11, 1913. For reasons unknown to us, he was moved to North Cedar Hill Cemetery on November 10, 1914 where he is today.

Lewis aged 1 year, 1 month, 15 days
