Bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Harter Buried in One Grave
After hearing the somewhat startling evidence at the coroner's inquest in the case of Landelin Harter, who was supposed to have committed suicide, the jury returned a verdict to the effect that Harter was shot by the accidental discharge of a revolver during a scuffle with his wife. The testimony rather tended to show that Harter was killed by his wife in a fit of jealousy, but as she dead and the fact that the husband knew she had purchased the revolver and had not objected to her having it, the verdict of accidental death was decided upon. The bodies of husband and wife were buried in one grave yesterday. The five children will be sent to relatives at Oconto.
