Albert Becher, 76, died at his home, 1220 Fourth avenue east, at 7 p.m. Saturday of a long illness.
He was born sept. 29, 1887, at Westgate, Ia., coming to Twin Falls in 1920 from Westgate. He married Louise Timmerman Jan. 7, 1915, in
Westgate. He was employed by the city of Twin Falls in the water department for 36 years, retiring six years ago. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church.
Surviving, besides his widow, are three sons, Albert T. Becher, Tucson, Ariz.; Ted Becher, Honolulu, and Art Becher, Seattle; two daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Leslie, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Ruth Heller, Twin Falls; two brothers, Henry Becher, Orange, Calif., and Edmund Becher, Spokane; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Martens, Orange, Calif., and Mrs. Marie List, Jerome, and eight grandchildren.
A memorial wreath has been established for the Immanuel Lutheran KTFI Sunday morning "Hour With God" radio broadcast.
Funeral services are pending at White mortuary.
