Robert L. Hofer, 63, of Henry, passed away Saturday October 15, 2016, 6:00 am.
Visitation will be Wednesday October 19, 2016, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, 513 Carroll St. Henry. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 am. The Deacon Robert Murphy will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Henry. Memorials may be directed to the Henry Fire & Police Departments.
Bob was born April 5, 1953, in Spring Valley, IL to Leland and Shirley (Danhof) Hofer.
Surviving are his daughter, April Hofer, of Henry, his grandson, Drake Kelly, his sibling, Sharon (Gary) Koehler, of Henry, Janet (Bob) Thornton, of Clifton hills, MO, Roger (Leslie) Hofer, Leona (Bill) Buser, Gary (Jennifer) Hofer, all of Henry and Susie (Jim) Thrush, of Ottawa. His son, Robert Hofer, Jr, preceded him in death.
Bob was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Henry. He had owned and operated Hofer’s Pub for many years.
