"Mrs. Bernice G. Scott, age 90, of Hillview returned to her Heavenly Father on December 26, 2016. Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and loved to line dance. Mrs. Scott was a member of VFW Post #5710 in Shepherdsville and St. Theresa Catholic Church. She attended St. Luke Catholic Church. Among those that preceded her in death include her parents, Edward and Catherine Meiners Voll; husband, Bill Scott; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Ron Scott and William "BJ" Scott (Diane); granddaughters, Whiney Bailey (Ethan) and Rachel Scott; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon on Friday, December 30, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 4-8 pm and Friday from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Theresa Catholic Church."
