Catherine was the daughter of Theodore Meiners and Catherine Vonderhaar. On 22 May 1912 she married Edward "Patsy" Voll and they had nine children: Paul, Mary, Carmel, Aloysius, Doris, Bernice, John, Anthony, and Donald. She was employed by the Reiss-Dabney Cigar Company from 1940 to 1954 when she went to work at the St. Anthony Hospital cafeteria. Catherine retired in 1961.
